Penang ARDF Event, May 2nd, 2009 Results

 Congratulations to the winners of the Penang ARDF Open held on May 2nd, 2009.
Lee - 9W2YCL who came all the way from Malacca for the hunt managed to bagged the 1st prize in the Intermediate Category.

Although in this category, he need only locate 4 fox beacons ( 1 to 4 ) and the homing beacon, but he managed to locate all the 5 fox beacons plus the homing beacon instead.
In the Beginner’s Category, KY Lim - SWL, managed to locate all the assigned fox beacons ( 1 - 3 - 5 ) and the homing beacon within the allocated time of 2 hours, thus making him the winner in that category.

The weather on the day of hunt was not too good as it was still drizzling close to the flag-off time, however, that did not deter the keen ARDF hunters from turning up for this event.
Thank you to all helpers in the event and the fox team under the charge of Jeffri - 9W2WOC and not forgetting the first aid team who had an ambulance standing by throughout the whole event.
